I have used A. Deal Plumbing twice. Once for a water heater install 5 years ago and the second time just recently to repair several plumbing fixtures inside my house. For the water heater I was in a time crunch and A. Deal Plumbing was able to take care of me quickly at a good price. I had gotten 2 other quotes from larger plumbing shops that were higher. For the most recent plumbing fixture(s) repairs there was corrosion and other issues I didn't anticipate. However, the owner (Arnold) worked through the issues very professionally and got the job done. A Deal is a small family owned plumbing shop and so they don't have a lot of staff which can cause issues for them making it from appointment to appointment on an exact schedule if work is delayed at a job ahead of yours. If you can be patient with that aspect you should be happy with the work. Arnold the owner is a very pleasant man to work with. The thing that I really appreciate about Arnold is that he doesn't try to upsell or pressure his customers on additional work and add-ons unlike my experience with some other plumbing shops.

I've been a customer of Arnold at A DeaL Plumbing for 4+ years now, at three different properties. He's very responsive and easy to communicate with -- which is very hard to find these days. Someone from his team always arrives as expected, they perform the job properly, and the price is fair. A DeaL came recommended to me by a friend, and I have recommended them to other friends. They are tops on my list for plumbers when I need help.

Since 2009, when Arnold started A Deal Plumbing, he and his sons have provided superb Master-Plumber-licensed service for my old (1960) house and other old houses around my neighborhood. For me, this work includes many minor plumbing jobs like snaking out fragile cast iron pipes successfully, and several major jobs, including rebuilding the sewage line running from the house to the “cleanout” near the sewer (the original Orangeburg pipe collapsed) and jackhammering through the foundation to take out a useless old trap that was blocking water drainage from the kitchen to the rest of the house. For sure, if A DeaL Plumbing can fix plumbing issues in the old houses around here, houses built in the 1950s and 1960s, they can fix any plumbing problem! A major positive of A DeaL Plumbing is that every bit of the plumbing work they’ve done has been great. No need to redo anything. Another major positive is that if a job doesn’t need some expensive fix, they’ll tell you that a cheaper fix can be done—and their prices for all work are very reasonable compared to other plumbers. Last, they are unfailingly respectful, and very, very nice! For 15 years, this company has been a business I have relied on, a rare, special gift in my long life.
